1. PURPOSE

This Official Communication & Fraud Awareness Notice establishes practical guidance for participants, applicants, customers and other persons interacting with:

MYCLOTH INDIA ARMY — LONG-TERM SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT OWNER & BRAND PARTNER PROGRAM

Its purpose is to help people:

  • identify genuine MyCloth India communication;

  • verify important Program information;

  • avoid impersonation and payment scams;

  • protect passwords, OTPs, payment information and personal information;

  • identify suspicious requests;

  • report suspected fraud or impersonation; and

  • use the official website as the central verification source.

SIMPLE RULE

VERIFY BEFORE YOU TRUST → VERIFY BEFORE YOU PAY → VERIFY BEFORE YOU SHARE INFORMATION

This Notice is an awareness and communication document. It does not replace the Master Program Terms, Fraud Prevention & Integrity Policy, Privacy & Data Protection Policy, Tax, Withholding & Payment Policy, Advertising & Content Policy, Attribution & Tracking Policy or any participant-specific agreement.

2. OFFICIAL PROGRAM IDENTITY

The official Program name is:

MYCLOTH INDIA ARMY — LONG-TERM SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT OWNER & BRAND PARTNER PROGRAM

The current commercial model is:

10% LOYALTY ANNUAL NET PROFIT SHARE

The 10% is one collective annual allocation pool and is not 10% payable separately to every participant.

Participants should rely on the official Program documents published on MyCloth.in for the actual legal, financial, attribution, fraud, privacy, tax and payment rules.

3. MYCLOTH.IN — CENTRAL VERIFICATION SOURCE

MyCloth.in is the central verification source for official MyCloth India information.

Participants and customers should check the official website before relying on an important communication, especially where the communication involves:

  • Program participation;

  • account verification;

  • payment;

  • tax or withholding;

  • personal information;

  • identity verification;

  • changes to Program rules;

  • official communication channels;

  • social-media accounts;

  • suspicious requests; or

  • alleged Company instructions.

If an official email address, social-media account, customer communication channel or other official communication method changes, the updated information should be published or updated on MyCloth.in so that customers and participants can independently verify it.

4. CURRENT OFFICIAL COMMUNICATION CHANNELS

The following channels are currently identified for MyCloth India and Program communication.

Important

The existence of an email address, social-media account, screenshot, message or document claiming to represent MyCloth India does not by itself establish authenticity.

Where there is doubt, verify through MyCloth.in.

5. WEBSITE-FIRST VERIFICATION RULE

A participant should not rely solely on:

  • an email signature;

  • a WhatsApp message;

  • a Telegram message;

  • an Instagram DM;

  • a social-media comment;

  • a screenshot;

  • a PDF;

  • a forwarded message;

  • a voice message;

  • a phone call;

  • a person claiming to be a MyCloth India employee or representative; or

  • a person claiming to be a Program manager.

Instead:

STEP 1

Go directly to MyCloth.in.

STEP 2

Check the relevant official Program page or communication information.

STEP 3

Compare the communication channel, instructions and information.

STEP 4

If the communication concerns money, tax, identity, banking information or unusual instructions, independently verify it before taking action.

6. MYCLOTH INDIA WILL NOT ASK FOR SENSITIVE SECURITY INFORMATION THROUGH AN UNVERIFIED CHANNEL

Participants and customers should be extremely cautious if someone claiming to represent MyCloth India asks for:

  • account passwords;

  • social-media passwords;

  • email passwords;

  • OTPs;

  • authentication codes;

  • recovery codes;

  • banking passwords;

  • UPI PIN;

  • card PIN;

  • CVV;

  • full payment-card credentials;

  • cryptocurrency transfer;

  • remote computer access;

  • installation of suspicious software;

  • access to personal email accounts; or

  • other sensitive security credentials.

Do not disclose such information merely because the requester uses the MyCloth India name, logo or branding.

7. PAYMENT SCAM WARNING

Participants should treat unexpected payment requests as high-risk.

Be particularly careful if someone claims that a participant must pay:

  • registration fees;

  • activation fees;

  • security deposits;

  • account-unlocking charges;

  • tax-release fees;

  • prize-release fees;

  • withdrawal charges;

  • processing charges;

  • verification fees;

  • commission-release fees;

  • membership fees; or

  • any other unexpected amount

in order to receive an alleged Program payment.

IMPORTANT

The Program's actual tax, withholding and payment treatment is governed by the Official Tax, Withholding & Payment Policy, applicable law and the participant's applicable agreement.

Do not make a payment simply because someone claims that a payment is necessary to release a Program amount.

Verify first through MyCloth.in and the appropriate official communication channel.

8. TAX AND WITHHOLDING SCAMS

Tax-related scams can appear convincing because they may use:

  • government terminology;

  • fake tax documents;

  • fake payment receipts;

  • fake notices;

  • fake employee identities;

  • fake accountants;

  • fake legal representatives; or

  • copied MyCloth India branding.

Participants should not rely on a message merely because it contains tax terminology.

The Program's Tax, Withholding & Payment Policy provides that tax treatment and withholding depend on the applicable legal and factual circumstances. The policy does not itself guarantee a particular tax rate or tax outcome.

If a person demands an unusual tax payment or asks the participant to transfer money to a personal account, verify the request before acting.

9. IDENTITY-VERIFICATION SCAMS

A participant may legitimately be required to provide information for lawful Program administration, verification, payment, tax, fraud prevention or compliance purposes.

However, participants should remain cautious when a person:

  • demands unnecessary identity documents;

  • requests documents through an unverified account;

  • asks for OTPs together with identity documents;

  • requests passwords;

  • asks for banking credentials;

  • asks the participant to install unknown software; or

  • creates artificial urgency.

If uncertain, verify the request through the official website and appropriate official communication channel before providing information.

The Privacy & Data Protection Policy governs the handling of personal information.

10. SOCIAL-MEDIA IMPERSONATION

Fraudsters may create accounts that resemble:

  • MyCloth India;

  • MyCloth India Army;

  • Company employees;

  • Program administrators;

  • management personnel;

  • customer support personnel; or

  • other authorised representatives.

An account may use:

  • copied logos;

  • copied photographs;

  • similar usernames;

  • similar profile descriptions;

  • copied posts;

  • copied websites;

  • copied documents; or

  • screenshots of genuine MyCloth India communications.

These features alone do not establish authenticity.

VERIFY THE ACCOUNT

Compare the account with the official information published on MyCloth.in.

Do not assume that an account is official merely because it has:

  • the MyCloth India name;

  • the MyCloth India logo;

  • many followers;

  • a verification-style badge;

  • professional-looking graphics; or

  • a person claiming to be a Company representative.

11. EMAIL IMPERSONATION

A fraudulent person may use an email address that looks similar to an official address.

Examples of warning signs include:

  • additional words or characters;

  • misspellings;

  • unusual domains;

  • free email accounts pretending to be corporate accounts;

  • requests for urgent payment;

  • requests for passwords or OTPs;

  • unusual attachments;

  • unexpected links;

  • threats of account cancellation; or

  • demands for secrecy.

When an email concerns an important Program matter, verify the information through MyCloth.in.

12. WHATSAPP, TELEGRAM, SMS AND DIRECT-MESSAGE SCAMS

A person may contact a participant through a messaging platform and claim:

“I am from MyCloth India.”

The statement alone is not proof of identity.

Be cautious if the person:

  • asks for money;

  • asks for OTPs;

  • requests passwords;

  • requests remote access;

  • asks for cryptocurrency;

  • sends suspicious links;

  • asks for confidential information;

  • pressures the participant to act immediately;

  • says the participant will lose their payment unless they pay;

  • asks the participant to keep the communication secret; or

  • provides instructions inconsistent with MyCloth.in.

Verify independently before acting.

13. FAKE PROGRAM DOCUMENTS

Fraudsters may create documents using:

  • MyCloth India logos;

  • Program names;

  • copied legal language;

  • fake signatures;

  • fake stamps;

  • fake letterheads;

  • copied screenshots; or

  • altered versions of genuine documents.

Participants should use the versions published on MyCloth.in as the primary source for official Program policies.

A downloaded copy, screenshot or forwarded document should not automatically be treated as the latest version.

14. FAKE PAYMENT CONFIRMATIONS

Participants should not rely solely on:

  • screenshots of bank transfers;

  • screenshots of UPI transactions;

  • edited payment receipts;

  • payment-reference images;

  • WhatsApp payment confirmations;

  • email payment confirmations; or

  • messages stating that payment has been released.

Payment should be considered completed only through appropriate Company/payment records and applicable payment confirmation processes.

15. NO UNAUTHORISED PERSON MAY BIND MYCLOTH INDIA

Under the Program framework, participants do not automatically have authority to act as employees, agents or authorised representatives of MyCloth India.

Unless specifically authorised in writing, a participant or third party must not:

  • enter contracts on behalf of MyCloth India;

  • promise refunds;

  • promise compensation;

  • modify Company pricing;

  • issue unauthorised discounts;

  • settle customer disputes on behalf of the Company;

  • collect Company payments into personal accounts; or

  • otherwise represent that they have authority to bind the Company.

This principle is also important for fraud prevention.

16. CUSTOMER SAFETY

Participants communicating with customers should not request unnecessary sensitive information.

Participants should not ask customers to provide:

  • passwords;

  • OTPs;

  • UPI PINs;

  • card PINs;

  • CVV;

  • account-recovery codes; or

  • other security credentials.

Participants should direct customers to appropriate official MyCloth India channels for matters requiring Company support.

Participants must also follow the Privacy & Data Protection Policy and Advertising & Content Policy.

17. FRAUDULENT PERFORMANCE AND PROGRAM MANIPULATION

Fraud awareness also applies to Program performance.

Participants must not attempt to manufacture or manipulate Program results through:

  • fake orders;

  • fabricated transactions;

  • participant-funded purchases;

  • participant-reimbursed purchases;

  • manipulated attribution;

  • duplicate attribution;

  • fabricated screenshots;

  • false evidence;

  • artificial engagement;

  • bots;

  • manipulated discount codes;

  • false customer information;

  • unauthorized system access; or

  • other artificial activity.

The detailed rules are established in the Official Fraud Prevention & Integrity Policy.

18. SHOPIFY COLLABS AND TRACKING SECURITY

Where Shopify Collabs is used, it may function as an operational attribution and tracking system.

Participants should understand that:

Shopify Collabs does not independently determine:

  • Annual Distributable Net Profit;

  • Annual Partner Pool;

  • Product Contribution Factor;

  • contractual profit-share entitlement;

  • tax treatment; or

  • final payment.

The final calculation remains governed by the written MyCloth India Program framework.

Participants should also avoid giving unknown persons access to their tracking account or credentials.

20. WHAT TO DO IF YOU RECEIVE A SUSPICIOUS MESSAGE

Step 1 — Stop

Do not immediately reply, click, pay or provide information.

Step 2 — Preserve Evidence

Where safe and lawful, retain:

    • email;

    • message;

    • username;

    • profile URL;

    • phone number;

    • screenshots;

    • transaction reference;

    • payment information;

    • suspicious link; and

    • relevant communication history.

Step 3 — Verify

Check MyCloth.in and compare the communication with official information.

Step 4 — Report

Use the appropriate official MyCloth India or Program communication channel.

Step 5 — Secure Your Accounts

If you disclosed credentials, immediately take appropriate steps to secure the affected account, including changing compromised passwords and contacting the relevant platform or financial institution where appropriate.

21. IF MONEY HAS ALREADY BEEN SENT

If a person has already transferred money because of a suspected scam:

    1. contact the relevant bank/payment provider immediately;

    2. preserve transaction references and evidence;

    3. report the suspicious communication to MyCloth India through an official channel;

    4. secure any affected accounts;

    5. report the incident to the appropriate authorities/platforms where appropriate; and

    6. do not send additional money merely because the scammer claims another payment is required to recover the first payment.

Prompt action may be important.

22. IF LOGIN CREDENTIALS OR OTPs WERE DISCLOSED

If a participant or customer has disclosed a password, OTP, authentication code or other security credential:

  • change the affected password immediately;

  • secure the relevant email account;

  • enable available multi-factor authentication;

  • review recent account activity;

  • contact the relevant platform/provider;

  • contact the bank/payment provider if financial credentials were affected; and

  • report the incident through an appropriate official channel.

MyCloth India should not be treated as a substitute for the relevant bank, platform, email provider or government authority in securing an affected account.

23. OFFICIAL INFORMATION CHANGES

MyCloth India may update:

  • email addresses;

  • social-media accounts;

  • customer communication channels;

  • Program communication methods;

  • website pages;

  • operational systems; or

  • other official communication information.

If a communication channel changes, the updated information should be published or updated on MyCloth.in.

Therefore:

Never assume that an old communication channel remains official forever.

Check the current information on MyCloth.in.

  • passwords;

  • OTPs;

  • security credentials; or

  • another person's private information.

Personal-data handling remains subject to the Official Privacy & Data Protection Policy and applicable law.

27. PROTECTION AGAINST FALSE ACCUSATIONS

A suspicious communication should be investigated based on appropriate evidence.

A person should not be publicly accused of fraud merely because:

  • a message appears unusual;

  • an attribution is disputed;

  • an account is unfamiliar; or

  • an investigation is ongoing.

The Company may conduct confidential verification and investigation in accordance with the applicable Program policies and law.

28. PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITY

Each participant is responsible for taking reasonable care of:

  • their social-media account;

  • their email account;

  • their personal information; and

  • communications received through their own accounts.

Participants should not knowingly allow another person to misuse their Program access or credentials.

29. SIMPLE FIVE-SECOND RULE

Before acting on an important MyCloth India message, ask:

1. WHO?

Who actually sent this?

2. WHERE?

Is the communication channel identified on MyCloth.in?

3. WHAT?

What exactly are they asking me to do?

4. MONEY?

Am I being asked to pay or transfer money?

5. VERIFY?

Have I independently verified the request?

If any answer is unclear:

STOP → VERIFY → THEN ACT.

30. OFFICIAL VERIFICATION PRINCIPLE

The safest general principle is:

MYCLOTH.IN IS THE CENTRAL VERIFICATION SOURCE.
