1. PURPOSE OF THIS TIE-BREAK MECHANISM

This Tie-Break Mechanism establishes the pre-published, objective and sequential method that MyCloth India will use if two or more Mains-qualified participants have the same highest number of Verified Eligible Sales at the time of final ranking.

The purpose of this mechanism is solely to determine one Rank #1 Winner where the highest final Mains score is tied.

A tie shall never result in multiple winners or shared winners.

The tie-break criteria shall be applied strictly in the order stated below. Once a criterion produces a sole highest-ranked participant, the tie is resolved and no subsequent criterion shall be applied.

2. FINAL WINNER RULE

The MYCLOTH INDIA SKILL BASED CHALLENGE has ONLY ONE WINNER.

The primary ranking criterion is:

The participant with the highest number of Verified Eligible Sales in Mains shall be Rank #1 and shall be the sole Winner.

If two or more participants have exactly the same highest number of Verified Eligible Sales, the following Tie-Break Mechanism shall be applied sequentially until one participant is determined as Rank #1.

 

📌Tie-Break Eligibility :

The Tie-Break Mechanism applies only among participants who have successfully qualified Mains by achieving at least 35 final Verified Eligible Sales.

Participants who have fewer than 35 final Verified Eligible Sales are not Mains-qualified and are not eligible for Rank #1, even if they have the highest score among all non-qualified participants.

If no participant qualifies Mains, the Tie-Break Mechanism does not apply, there is no Rank #1 Winner, and no Prize Money is distributed.

3. TIE-BREAK HIERARCHY

The criteria shall be applied in the following exact order:

Tie-Breaker 1 — Higher Aggregate Qualifying Transaction Value

The participant having the higher Aggregate Qualifying Transaction Value (AQTV) shall rank higher.

Tie-Breaker 2 — Greater Number of Distinct Genuine Customers

If AQTV is also identical, the participant having the greater number of Distinct Genuine Customers shall rank higher.

Tie-Breaker 3 — Greater Number of Verified New Customers

If the number of Distinct Genuine Customers is also identical, the participant having the greater number of Verified New Customers shall rank higher.

Tie-Breaker 4 — Earlier Achievement of the Tied Final Score

If all preceding criteria remain identical, the participant who reached the tied final Verified Eligible Sales score earlier shall rank higher.

Tie-Breaker 5 — Lower Invalidated-Sale Ratio

If the tied participants reached the same final score at the same applicable time, the participant having the lower Invalidated-Sale Ratio (ISR) shall rank higher.

Tie-Breaker 6 — Earlier Valid Challenge Registration Timestamp

If all preceding criteria remain identical, the participant whose valid Challenge registration was recorded earlier in MyCloth India's official registration system shall rank higher.

Tie-Breaker 7 — Lower Official Participant ID

If, due to identical system timestamps or any technical recording limitation, the preceding criteria still remain identical, the participant having the lower sequentially assigned Official Challenge Participant ID shall rank higher.

This final criterion exists solely to ensure that the published mechanism always produces one objectively identifiable Rank #1 Winner without requiring a random draw, lottery, lucky draw or discretionary selection.

4. VERIFIED ELIGIBLE SALES

For purposes of this Tie-Break Mechanism, a Verified Eligible Sale (VES) means a sale that has successfully satisfied all applicable Challenge eligibility, attribution, payment, customer, transaction, fraud-prevention, cancellation/return, advertising-compliance and verification requirements under the official MYCLOTH INDIA SKILL BASED CHALLENGE Terms & Conditions.

A sale shall not be counted merely because an order was created.

The sale must remain eligible after MyCloth India's final verification process.

The final verified Mains sales data shall be used for determining the Winner.

5. AGGREGATE QUALIFYING TRANSACTION VALUE (AQTV)

5.1 Definition

Aggregate Qualifying Transaction Value (AQTV) means the total qualifying merchandise transaction value attributable to a participant across all of that participant's Verified Eligible Sales in Mains, calculated in accordance with the formula below.

Formula

AQTV = Σ NQVᵢ

where:

  • AQTV = Aggregate Qualifying Transaction Value;

  • NQVᵢ = Net Qualifying Value of the i-th Verified Eligible Sale;

  • i = each Verified Eligible Sale included in the participant's final verified Mains result.

Therefore:

AQTV = NQV₁ + NQV₂ + NQV₃ + ... + NQVₙ

5.2 Net Qualifying Value (NQV)

For each Verified Eligible Sale:

NQV = Eligible Merchandise Amount − Participant-Attributed Discount − Applicable Refund/Credit Amount

For purposes of this calculation, the following shall generally be excluded unless expressly stated otherwise in the official Challenge Terms & Conditions:

  • GST and other separately identified taxes;

  • shipping or delivery charges;

  • payment gateway or transaction charges;

  • gift-wrapping or other separately charged services;

  • amounts attributable to cancelled, refunded or returned merchandise;

  • promotional amounts or credits that do not represent customer-paid qualifying merchandise consideration;

  • any other amount expressly excluded under the official Challenge rules.

The final amount shall be determined from MyCloth India's official order, payment and verification records.

6. DISTINCT GENUINE CUSTOMER (DGC)

6.1 Definition

A Distinct Genuine Customer means one genuine individual customer whose qualifying purchase is represented by at least one Verified Eligible Sale attributable to the participant and who is counted only once for this Tie-Break Mechanism.

Formula

DGC = Number of distinct Genuine Customers associated with the participant's Verified Eligible Sales

A customer who places multiple qualifying orders shall normally count as one Distinct Genuine Customer, not multiple customers.

6.2 Customer Deduplication

For verification purposes, MyCloth India may use its official customer, order, payment and other reasonably available internal records to determine whether multiple transactions belong to the same customer.

MyCloth India may use appropriate internal identifiers and matching information for this purpose.

Customer information used for verification shall not be publicly disclosed merely because it is used in calculating the Tie-Break Mechanism, except where disclosure is legally required or otherwise lawfully permitted.

7. VERIFIED NEW CUSTOMER (VNC)

7.1 Definition

A Verified New Customer means a genuine customer whose qualifying purchase is a Verified Eligible Sale attributable to the participant and who had not previously completed an order with MyCloth India before that qualifying purchase, based on MyCloth India's reasonably available historical customer and order records.

The customer's first qualifying purchase must itself satisfy all applicable Challenge requirements.

Formula

VNC = Number of distinct Verified New Customers attributable to the participant

A customer shall be counted as a Verified New Customer only once.

7.2 Historical Customer Check

For determining whether a customer is a New Customer, MyCloth India may examine reasonably available historical customer and order records maintained before the relevant qualifying transaction, subject to applicable law, record-retention practices and privacy requirements.

A customer who previously completed an order with MyCloth India shall not be treated as a New Customer merely because the customer creates a new account, uses a different email address, uses a different delivery address or places an order through a different device, where MyCloth India's verification records reasonably establish that the customer is the same person.

8. EARLIER ACHIEVEMENT OF THE TIED FINAL SCORE

If the tied participants have identical:

  1. Verified Eligible Sales;

  2. Aggregate Qualifying Transaction Value;

  3. Distinct Genuine Customers; and

  4. Verified New Customers;

then the participant who first achieved the final tied Verified Eligible Sales number shall rank higher.

The relevant timestamp shall be the timestamp recorded by MyCloth India's official Challenge tracking system for the qualifying sale that caused the participant to reach the tied final score.

The timestamp shall be recorded using Indian Standard Time (IST) or an internally recorded UTC timestamp converted to IST for publication and verification purposes.

Example

If:

  • Participant A reaches 50 Verified Eligible Sales at 10:15:32 IST; and

  • Participant B reaches 50 Verified Eligible Sales at 11:42:08 IST;

Participant A shall rank higher under this Tie-Breaker.

This criterion shall be based on the official system record and shall not be determined by a participant's self-reported time.

9. INVALIDATED-SALE RATIO (ISR)

If the tied participants remain identical after the preceding criteria, MyCloth India shall compare their Invalidated-Sale Ratio.

Formula

ISR = (IS ÷ TAS) × 100

where:

  • ISR = Invalidated-Sale Ratio, expressed as a percentage;

  • IS = Number of sales attributable to the participant that were subsequently invalidated during final verification;

  • TAS = Total number of attributable sales recorded for the participant through MyCloth India's official Challenge tracking system during the applicable Challenge period before final verification.

Winner under this criterion

Lower ISR ranks higher.

This criterion is intended to prefer the participant whose attributed sales record demonstrates the lower proportion of subsequently invalidated transactions.

If TAS is zero, ISR shall not be calculated; however, a participant who is tied at the Mains final score necessarily has qualifying sales and the applicable records shall be evaluated accordingly.

10. EARLIER VALID CHALLENGE REGISTRATION TIMESTAMP

If all preceding Tie-Breaker criteria remain exactly identical, the participant whose valid Challenge registration was recorded earlier in MyCloth India's official registration system shall rank higher.

The registration must have been:

  • successfully completed;

  • valid under the Challenge rules;

  • associated with the participant's official Challenge account;

  • recorded by MyCloth India's official system; and

  • not subsequently cancelled, rejected or invalidated.

The timestamp recorded by the official system shall control.

Self-reported registration times, screenshots or participant claims shall not override the official system record unless MyCloth India determines that a technical system error occurred and has verifiable system evidence establishing the correct timestamp.

11. OFFICIAL PARTICIPANT ID — FINAL DETERMINISTIC CRITERION

If two or more participants remain identical under every preceding criterion because of an identical recorded timestamp or an equivalent technical circumstance, the final objective criterion shall be the participant's Official Challenge Participant ID.

The Participant ID must have been assigned by MyCloth India's official Challenge registration system.

The participant with the lower sequentially assigned valid Participant ID shall rank higher.

This criterion is administrative and deterministic. It shall not involve a random number generator, lucky draw, lottery, manual selection or discretionary selection of a winner.

12. COMPLIANCE AND ELIGIBILITY ARE NOT OPTIONAL TIE-BREAK POINTS

Compliance is a prerequisite for participation and for counting a transaction as a Verified Eligible Sale.

A transaction or participant that fails an applicable eligibility, fraud-prevention, advertising, payment, attribution or other mandatory Challenge requirement may be excluded, disqualified or otherwise treated in accordance with the official Challenge Terms & Conditions.

MyCloth India shall not create or assign discretionary "bonus points" or subjective ranking points after the Challenge has ended merely to determine the Winner.

All final calculations shall be based on the published rules and verifiable Challenge records.

13. NO RANDOM WINNER SELECTION

The Tie-Break Mechanism is designed to resolve a performance tie through a pre-published sequence of objective criteria.

No random draw, lucky draw, lottery, jackpot selection or discretionary winner selection shall be used to determine Rank #1 under this Tie-Break Mechanism.

The final criterion is an administrative system-order criterion used only if all substantive performance and objective tie-break criteria remain identical.

14. ONE WINNER — NO SHARED WINNERS

The final outcome shall always contain ONLY ONE Rank #1 Winner.

Accordingly:

  • two tied participants shall not both be declared Winners;

  • three tied participants shall not all be declared Winners;

  • no prize shall be automatically divided because of a tie;

  • no "joint winner" status shall be created;

  • no additional Winner shall be selected solely because a tie occurred.

The Tie-Break Mechanism shall continue sequentially until one participant is objectively ranked above the others.

FINAL RULE: ONLY ONE PARTICIPANT SHALL BE DECLARED THE RANK #1 WINNER OF THE MYCLOTH INDIA SKILL BASED CHALLENGE.

15. FINAL VERIFICATION AND AUDIT

Before the final Winner is officially announced, MyCloth India may conduct final verification and audit of:

  • Verified Eligible Sales;

  • payment status;

  • order status;

  • cancellations;

  • returns;

  • refunds;

  • chargebacks;

  • customer authenticity;

  • duplicate accounts;

  • prohibited related transactions;

  • sales attribution;

  • advertising and content compliance;

  • fraud or manipulation indicators;

  • Aggregate Qualifying Transaction Value;

  • Distinct Genuine Customers;

  • Verified New Customers;

  • applicable timestamps; and

  • other information reasonably necessary to verify the final result.

If a transaction is subsequently determined to be invalid, the final ranking may be recalculated in accordance with the official Challenge Terms & Conditions before the Winner is confirmed.

16. SYSTEM RECORDS SHALL CONTROL

Unless a demonstrable technical error is established, the following official MyCloth India records shall control the calculation of the Tie-Break Mechanism:

  1. Challenge registration records;

  2. official participant ID records;

  3. order records;

  4. payment records;

  5. attribution/tracking records;

  6. customer records;

  7. refund/return/cancellation records;

  8. verification records; and

  9. system timestamps.

Participant-submitted spreadsheets, manually reported sales figures or self-declared customer information shall not override official records unless accepted by MyCloth India following verification.

17. DATA PROTECTION AND CONFIDENTIALITY

MyCloth India may process participant, customer, order and transaction information to administer the Challenge, verify eligibility, prevent fraud, calculate results and conduct audits.

Personal information shall be handled in accordance with applicable law and MyCloth India's applicable privacy and data-handling practices.

Customer identities and personal information shall not be publicly disclosed merely because such information was used internally to calculate a Tie-Breaker.

18. PRE-PUBLISHED AND BINDING METHODOLOGY

This Tie-Break Mechanism is intended to be published before the final ranking process and shall apply to the MYCLOTH INDIA SKILL BASED CHALLENGE for the applicable Challenge period.

MyCloth India shall not replace, alter or introduce a new substantive Tie-Breaker after the Challenge has ended for the purpose of changing the identity of the potential Winner.

Any correction required because of a genuine typographical, technical or legal-compliance error shall be documented and handled in accordance with the official Challenge Terms & Conditions and applicable law.

19. ORDER OF FINAL DETERMINATION — QUICK REFERENCE

The final ranking hierarchy is:

1. Highest Verified Eligible Sales

ONE RANK #1 WINNER

20. FINAL DECLARATION

The MYCLOTH INDIA SKILL BASED CHALLENGE is structured so that the primary determination of Rank #1 is based on the participant's verified Mains performance.

The Tie-Break Mechanism does not create additional Winners. It exists solely to objectively resolve a tie for the highest final Mains score.

ONLY ONE participant shall ultimately be declared Rank #1 Winner.

The final Winner remains subject to completion of MyCloth India's final verification, eligibility, fraud-prevention, compliance, identity-verification, tax and other applicable statutory requirements.

FRAUD PREVENTION NOTICE

MyCloth India will never ask a participant to pay a registration fee, prize-release fee or gift-card payment, or to provide a password, OTP, UPI PIN or banking credentials to participate in the Challenge or claim Prize Money.

Participants should independently verify any communication claiming to represent MyCloth India before taking action.
