3. REGISTRATION
Registration Opens
04 September 2026
Registration Closes
01 November 2026 — 08:00 AM IST Sharp
Registration must be completed through the official Challenge registration process.
Successful registration does not mean that the participant has qualified Prelims or Mains.
Registration only allows an eligible participant to participate in the Challenge, subject to the official rules.
4. CHALLENGE STRUCTURE
The Challenge follows a simple progression:
Registration → Prelims → Mains → Final Verification → Final Ranking → Rank #1 Winner
The terms “Prelims” and “Mains” are structural names used by MyCloth India for the different stages of the Challenge.
They do not indicate any affiliation with UPSC, the Government of India or any government authority.
5. PRELIMS — QUALIFICATION / PASSING CRITERIA
To qualify or pass Prelims, a participant must achieve:
50 VERIFIED ELIGIBLE SALES (VES)
Verified Eligible Sale (VES) means a sale that satisfies the applicable Challenge eligibility requirements and remains eligible after verification.
Therefore:
50 Verified Eligible Sales (VES) = Prelims Qualification / Passing Criteria
A participant who has fewer than 50 final qualifying Verified Eligible Sales (VES) has not passed Prelims.
The detailed definition of a Verified Eligible Sale is provided on the official:
Verified Eligible Sale (VES) Definition page.
6. AFTER PASSING PRELIMS
Once a participant successfully achieves the required:
50 Verified Eligible Sales (VES)
the participant qualifies for Prelims and:
AUTOMATICALLY ENTERS MAINS
There is no separate Mains application or additional registration fee.
The participant can then work toward the Mains qualification/passing criteria.
7. PRELIMS SALES DO NOT CARRY INTO MAINS
Prelims and Mains are separate stages.
The Verified Eligible Sales (VES) used to qualify/pass Prelims are not added to the final Mains score.
In simple terms:
| Stage | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Prelims | Qualify for Mains |
| Mains | Final qualifying performance and ranking |
8. MAINS — QUALIFICATION / PASSING CRITERIA
After entering Mains, a participant must achieve:
35 VERIFIED ELIGIBLE SALES (VES)
Therefore:
35 Verified Eligible Sales (VES) = Mains Qualification / Passing Criteria
A participant who has fewer than 35 final qualifying Verified Eligible Sales (VES) has not passed Mains.
9. IMPORTANT — HIGHEST SCORE BELOW 35 DOES NOT QUALIFY
A participant does not qualify Mains merely because they have the highest Mains score among participants.
The participant must first achieve the required:
Minimum 35 Verified Eligible Sales (VES)
Example
If the final Mains scores are:
| Participant | Final Mains VES | Mains Status |
|---|---|---|
| Participant A | 34 | Not Qualified |
| Participant B | 30 | Not Qualified |
| Participant C | 22 | Not Qualified |
Participant A has the highest score, but 34 is below the required 35 VES.
Therefore:
Participant A has not passed Mains and is not eligible to become the Rank #1 Winner.
10. IF NOBODY QUALIFIES MAINS
If no participant achieves the minimum 35 Verified Eligible Sales (VES) required to qualify Mains:
There are zero Mains-qualified participants.
In that situation:
-
there is no Rank #1 Winner;
-
no participant is declared the Winner; and
-
no Prize Money is awarded or distributed.
The highest-scoring participant below 35 VES does not become the Winner merely because they have the highest score.
11. WHO ENTERS THE FINAL WINNER POOL?
Only participants who successfully qualify Mains by achieving at least:
35 Verified Eligible Sales (VES)
enter the final pool for Rank #1 determination, subject to final verification and the official Challenge rules.
The participant with the highest final verified Mains performance becomes Rank #1, subject to the Official Tie-Break Mechanism where required.
ONE RANK #1 WINNER ONLY
12. SIMPLE QUALIFICATION TABLE
| Stage | Requirement | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Registration | Successful registration | Eligible to participate |
| Prelims | 50 Verified Eligible Sales (VES) | Qualifies / Passes Prelims |
| Mains Entry | After passing Prelims | Automatic Mains Entry |
| Mains | 35 Verified Eligible Sales (VES) | Qualifies / Passes Mains |
| Below 35 Mains VES | Fewer than 35 | Not Mains Qualified |
| 0 Mains-qualified participants | Nobody reaches 35 VES | No Winner / No Prize Distribution |
| Final Ranking | Among Mains-qualified participants | Highest final verified Mains performance |
| Tie | Same qualifying final performance | Official Tie-Break Mechanism applies |
| Final Result | Rank #1 | ONE Winner ONLY |
13. FINAL VERIFICATION
Qualification is based on Verified Eligible Sales (VES), not simply on the number of orders displayed in a participant dashboard.
Sales may be reviewed and verified under the official Challenge rules.
A transaction that does not satisfy the applicable requirements may not be counted toward the participant's final qualifying VES.
The detailed rules are provided in the official:
Verified Eligible Sale (VES) Definition
and
Fraud Prevention & Disqualification Rules.
14. FINAL SALES DEADLINE
The final Challenge sales deadline is:
01 NOVEMBER 2026 — 08:00 AM IST SHARP
After the deadline, the Challenge sales data is frozen and the final verification process begins according to the official Master Date Schedule.
